Make Posing Fun

Last week I talked about confidence and what would you do in the new year if you knew you wouldn't fail. In order to succeed ,there is a saying that, "Hard work overcomes a lack of talent." To get that feeling of accomplishment, you need to put in some work and do things that take you out of your comfort zone. The comfort zone has always been a comfortable place for me, which it is for all of us. But does being out of your comfort zone have to be scary or un-fun? ( I just made that word up, but you know what I'm talking about.)  

Take posing for example. Posing is not something you do every day, and I hear women say, 'I wouldn't know what to do." Posing for a boudoir session or a fashion shoot are foreign to a lot of people, no matter how many magazines or internet sites you look at. That's where I help give you simple directions to help you look your best. I want to elongate your body by pointing the toes, arching the back, stretching the fingers into a ballet pose. Yes, it is not something you do every day and brings you out of the comfortable zone, but the end result is a feeling of great accomplishment and pride in your self and body that you never knew you had. And you know what? Sometimes there are even instances where it becomes fun and you forget that you don't know what you are doing!

My style is not a lot of smiling into the camera. I want to bring out your personality in all your images, and sometimes during the session we will have a good laugh while we communicate. I love to bring every part of you into your boudoir pictures. I love to capture that part of you in any picture that I take, whether it is boudoir or fashion or lifestyle photos. I want you to see yourself as a beautiful, elegant, confident woman. And that is priceless.
