KISS

I must apologize for taking off from blogging for a couple weeks. Things got a little busy here . I have become a governor in my condo complex. No need for congratulations! Just trying to help out for this year. And my nephew was visiting from Indiana for 9 days so I was doubling as tour guide, also. Which reminds me to say I hope everyone in the north is finding ways to keep warm. 

Lately, I have been trying to up my Instagram game. This week I posted KISS. Keep It Simple Sally! I have seen so many boudoir pictures from elegant studios that produce beautiful boudoir images.  But do you need to have a sophisticated studio? This image shows that there is more to boudoir than the background, like keeping the focus on the model. I call this KISS because the only things here are a chair, a lamp and the beautiful girl. I love the way that she moves, even without much direction. When you are a model for a day, you are free sometimes to just move like you are on the set. There is nothing extravagant here, just a chair, a lamp and a little attitude. 

Sure, I love to photograph in beautiful locations, but I also want to be able to work with what is there. When some warm lighting and a sexy pose, you can have some great boudoir images.
