The Boudoir Experience

Complimentary phone call- What is a better way to start than a no pressure, no obligation call or Zoom meeting to ask questions.  Talk about how to book, what you might wear, what to bring. This is your custom boudoir shoot. Ask about me. Ask anything. I also want to know about you- why you want a boudoir shoot, who  this is for and what you hope to get from it. This is a great chance to get to know each other before you even book. 

Like what you heard? You are feeling like your questions have been answered- this is what you were hoping for and your confidence is high. You are ready to reserve your boudoir session date. Booking is easy. A 50% deposit saves your date and can be done on the web site or over the phone. The remainder is not due until a week before your boudoir shoot. 

Pre-planning call- Now we get into details for your personal photo shoot. You and I will plan the entire day. We will discuss location, what to wear, what to bring, what style you like. Have you ever been in a situation that feels uneasy because you didn't know what was coming? Did you like it? Me, neither! The pre-planning gives comfort in knowing what will happen for the day. And you will have a sense of how your boudoir pictures will look. Excited yet?

The big day! I will greet you at the door with a smile and a surprise gift bag.  (So much for the surprise!)  I will lead you to the shooting room where you will meet your Hair and Makeup Artist for the day. This is a great time for us to relax and just chat. After hair and makeup we will look at what you brought and again plan the shoot. Your HMUA stays for the entire session to provide that star treatment- helping with touch-ups and wardrobe. 

Posing-  I hear you. "I have to pose?" We start the photo shoot with a simple mirror game. I will do a pose and you will mirror what I'm doing. Easy-peasy, right? You will be amazed at how simple posing is, and will feel like a model by the end of the day. You may find that posing isn't what you do every day, and see how this compliments you and your body. This what boudoir photography is all about!

The reveal-  It has been a busy day, so take a break for an hour or so. I will be downloading your images onto my laptop and when you return, we will see your images for the first time. You may see yourself as you have never seen before. Maybe this is why you do a boudoir session. Here we can choose your favorites, design your album or order from other products.

What about the Covid precautions? We are very respectful of the guidelines. We will wear masks for the entire day, and if you wish, we can do the reveal later in the day over a Zoom meeting. You can read more here.
