Take the First Step

Your First Step on Your Boudoir Adventure!

Let the Fun Begin!

It's as easy as 1.2.3. I know this seems like just plain common sense and a no-brainer, but hear me out. You may come across something that you hadn't thought of. In a world of texts and emails there are advantages to actually talking with a real person!

1. Why Call? - You've been on the web site and like what you have seen. But according to Nielson Norman Group, the average page visit is less than a minute. Hopefully you get an idea of the personality and the work of the photographer. Can you really get to know a person in that short time? Your boudoir photography is unique to you, so surely you have questions about your own experience. Most web sites do not display what the investment is, monetarily or time-wise, so how do you find that out?

Additionally, how do you know they are a good fit for your boudoir session? I have seen great web sites that show personality, and I hope mine does, but can you get to know a person by looking at a phone or computer screen? You probably have pretty good intuition when you meet people, and a minute is not a long time, but phoning or a Zoom call creates trust and relationship.

2. What You Don't See - Web sites are a wonderful tool for you to choose your boudoir photographer. A call is a better tool to learn about the photographer. You get to hear the real voice, unscripted, and feel the responses. There is a connection that cannot be felt on a monitor. Ask about how they got to be a photographer. One of my favorite authors is Simon Sinek and a book he wrote is Start With Why.   The book is about inspiring leaders, and who is the leader of you? You are!

A great question to start with is "Why do you shoot boudoir?" I am asked that occasionally and am happy to talk about my why. I hope it comes across on the web site. But when you get to hear the story and feel the emotion that goes into the why, you learn so much more than what is on the screen. You may want to know about the money or time invested. Again, ask anything you want. Don't be shy. The more the photographer learns about you the more personal and customized your photography session will be.

3. Do I Have to Book? Absolutely not. This is a time to get to know each other a little better. Even if you may decide to go with another photographer, I am here to help in any way I can. But I will encourage you. Maybe even push you a little out of your comfort zone. Boudoir is a personal experience. We all need encouragement from time to time. It helps to talk with someone who will walk you through the process.

There is no obligation for the call. It is totally complimentary. We can chat for 30-45 minutes about what you want to get from your boudoir photography. Even though you are accustomed to just texting, you will feel better after getting to chat with the photographer. If you have been thinking about how to start I hope this encourages you to, like Steve Harvey says, Jump.

It's easy as 1,2,3. Call (727)437-7007 today. Or schedule your call here. I look forward to chatting with you soon!
