Random Thoughts About a Boudoir Session

This was a fun pic from a workshop last year. Anyway, on to some thoughts I hear from women about a boudoir session.

1. Recurring theme- "I felt so empowered!" ;  "I so needed this!" ; "It gives me confidence!"   Can you imagine? It sounds like the women I have photographed all had apprehensions about taking boudoir pictures, but then they loved it! As I always say, it's more than taking sexy pictures. It's an experience!

2. Wait'n'weight- "I want to wait until I lose weight."  "I need to lose 10 pounds." (or 20, or 30, or you get where this is going).  Don't you want to feel good about yourself right now? Wouldn't you love pictures of you that made you look hot and sexy? It could be the beginning of the new you! Like  Patti LaBelle sang, " I Have a New Attitude!"  (I know. Showing my age a little)

3. Timidity? (is that a real word?)- "I was so nervous before, but it became fun!" Your boudoir photography session is about you! Be a star for the day!
