So now you are arriving for your first boudoir shoot. You have been prepared by your photographer and are excited to get started. You may be ready to jump right in. Or you might be a little hesitant about intimate photography. This is a great time to realize you can become empowered yet feminine. If you are feeling a little anxious, there are ways to ease into your boudoir photo session. Let's see how:

1. Relax

Your boudoir session is a luxury experience. There is no need to rush. Your session is a confidence builder. You may want to jump right in and be hot and sensual. or maybe just relax for a minute and get comfortable with photographer and camera. If the latter is for you, your first outfit may be what you are wearing or maybe a classy dress. This is also a great time to establish rapport with the photographer and see how they work with you. Have fun with it! No pressure here.

2. Tease

After a few minutes you can begin to feel the boudoir vibe. Go ahead and play with your wardrobe, feel a bit flirty! You may start to feel like peeling off a layer or two. Can you see now how you are easing into showing your hotness?

3. Accessorize

Accessories can bring a lot into a boudoir experience. One, it helps you feel comfortable by having something to hold that you are familiar with. And two, it can add some sexy to a portrait. Accessories can be any piece of clothing like a hat or stockings. Maybe bring something from home from your SO like shirt or jersey. For the more adventurous a riding crop or handcuffs may get your adrenaline pumping!

4. Warming Up

Now we're getting there!  Now you are ready to show some confidence! All this has been a buildup to this point. What you wear (or don't wear) will be more sensual. Your expressions are flirtier and more seductive. Photographer may suggest thinking about your SO or a celebrity that you think about. The hidden personality you want to show begins to emerge. Feel it with all of your soul! This is what you had in mind when you booked your boudoir photo session!

5. Confident!!

There was commercial back in the day that said, "You've come a long way, baby!" Your boudoir experience has brought you from relaxation in everyday clothing to feeling like the empowered woman you are! No matter your age or body shape you deserve to feel this! Imagine how this will feel after your photo shoot! You can do this!!

Yes! I Want to Book!
